'Entering from Russia
Dogs need echinococcos treatment 1-5 days prior to arrival to Finland. The treatment have to be signed by a Russian veterinary.
If the dog is already under echinococcos treatmen, which is valid for 1 month, and you departures from Finland to Russia and returning after more then 5 days your four legged travel mate have to undergo a new treatment, undepending how many days you got left on the previous treatment.
The dog needs a "Declaration of owner ship; part 3" which can be emailed on request from the Finnish department of agriculture: [1]
Entering from Sweden
Dogs need id-chip, EU-passport, rabies vaccination and echinococcos treatment 1-5 days prior to border crossing. Echinococcos treatment should be sign by veterinary.

Drinking water[edit]
Tap water is safe to drink, and often free to fill up at gas stations. Usually a tap outside, ask the cashier for permission first. Finland has many forest trail and they often have open cabins for warmth, lunch break or a quick nap, these often have well outside with manual pump with drinkable water (often there's a lab result laminated on the pump)
