Petrol/Gas prices are 1.8 QR per L of Super Gasoline (95) and 1.85 QR per L for Diesel as of April 2018. There are growing number of petrol stations and most small towns have a least one station. No gas shortages known to have occurred in last four years.

==Drinking water== Dinking water should be bought in bottled form. The tap water is "safe" to drink but may not have to correct electrolyte or pH balance. Electrolyte problems are common in Qatar and contribute to increased risk of cardiac problems care must be taken to stay hydrated with quality water. Describe if the regular tap water is safe to drink. If not, describe where safe water can be purchased and the approximate average price range.
=Navigation= The best navigation to use in user updated applications such as "Waze." The country has lost of contraction in many areas and road closures are often done with little notice. Some road closures may take well over a year to finally be re opened as very large new roads are being placed. ==Paper maps== I would not recommend paper maps as the road layouts change often in Qatar. Google maps will give you a rough idea about road layout but is not be reliable. Reise Know-How are amoung the best paper maps. Purchase paper maps before arriving in Qatar

Review different GPS companies, quality and coverage (Tomtom, Garmin, OSM, Tracks4Africa). Tomtom and Garmin both work well but expect that even the most up to date GPS will be confused with the new roads and traffic patters being built. (with links to each).
