The Africa Overland Network is a website dedicated to independent overland travel. It was launched in September 2000 to cater for the huge spike in independent overland websites.
The site provides a catalog for past, current and future overlanders categorizing websites into routes (Africa, Asia, The Americas and World) and the type of vehicle used.
The website currently lists 634 (Dec 2011) independent overland website created by overlanders who have used the internet to share about their journey and experiences.
