CEMAC Insurance[edit]

CEMAC (sometimes called "Pink card") is liability insurance valid for many Central African countries.

Countries that use CEMAC[edit]

The following countries in Africa require CEMAC insurance, and you will likely be asked for it at the border before you can enter:
Cameroon, Congo, Gabon, Equatorial Guinea, Central African Republic and Chad.

The price will vary greatly depending on where you buy it, and how good your negotiation skills are.

In 2019, Biking Over Yonder paid FCFA25,000.00 XAF for one year of CEMAC for a 250 cc motorcycle in Banyo, Cameroon.
